TANGOROBICS

"Tangorobics" a guide to perfecting your skills in tango.        Tips from Stefani

I am often asked, what I do to keep my body in shape. My answer is : TANGO !

Women in my age, specially after giving birth, breast feeding etc, etc, experience weight problems and a general  weakness in connective tissue. LET'S FIGHT AGAINST  FLABS...

All my life I was active in several sports, I played Handball, Volleyball and Tennis. I did many hours of fitness to support my athletic skills, which I now still gain profit of.

I am used to train my body and I know how hard it is to keep on exercising, it can be quite boring . But I can say if you are committed to do something for your body and you have survived the first 6 weeks anything after that will be easy.

Be inspired by the passion for the dance, get motivated to work out  your body with the result of  improving  health, power, flexibility, motivation, youth and beautiful dancing.

Here I will share with you my work out.

Fitness program:

For all of you who are practicing Yoga I can say you are very lucky, you should have  a flexible body that  you need for "fancy" Voleos and "dramatic" poses. Keep on doing your Yoga exercise, make sure you are working on " hip rotation"  and work on flexibility and strength of your spine,  you will be  ok.

For the hectic "busyness" Ladies with a few time left for exercise, or  for those who are actually very lazy and always find reasons not to work out.....( sorry to say that ) , I have worked out a small fitness program target for those parts of the body which are very important for Tango. It  does not take more than 20 min. Try to practice  3 x a week

1. Relaxing head , shoulders ,

2. Relaxing  chest , belly and hips

3. Flexibility of spine

4. Soft belly shaping

5. Strengthening of lower back

6. Flexibility of legs

7. Flexibility and strength for  toes

8. Soft triceps shaping ( fight  the "flabs")

Diet:
eat what ever you like to eat accordingly to your personal taste or religious  beliefs, but be hard to yourself with 3 things:

1. do not eat Junk food
2. do not eat " in between" meals or junkies like chips, candies, ice cream, little snacks
3. do not eat after 7pm
